Chicago Salutes the Spirit of Chennai

Chennai, India, recently suffered weeks of non-stop rain that resulted in devastating floods. It knocked out power, suspended public transportation, stressed all health care and relief efforts and other public institutions, and left over 28,000 people stranded in one of India’s largest cities. Hundreds have died in the catastrophe..

It will be held this Sunday, December 20, at 2:00 pm at the Waterford Banquet Center, 933 South Riverside Drive, Elmhurst. It will include music, drumming, comedy, Bollywood dancers, and much more.
