Easter in Chicago


Hip-Hop Bunny and colorful baskets filled with eggs. Easter is around the corner and families are ready to go for a fun filled egg hunt. Chicago is hosting number of activities to make this Easter Sunday a memorable one.

Radio Pani-Poori lists out following few places where you can take your kids for an Easter egg hunt-

Maggie Daley Park

This is Chicago’s most beloved park, it is hosting its annual egg hunt on March 24. The hunt will begin at 10 AM sharp, apart from this there will be arts and crafts, sweet treats and visit from the Easter Bunny. Pre-registration would be required. The age limit is 6 months and up.

Lincoln Park Zoo

Zoo animals are all geared up to have fun with the Easter bunny, you can join the party too. March 26 is the date to bring in your family for a brunch, egg-hunting and craft making. Tickets for the ages 3 and under are sold out. Kids ages 4 and up are welcome to join the egg hunt.

Bunny Rock 5K

There is a race for everything and Easter is not untouched. There is a 5K Bunny race at Montrose Harbor where Parents can put on their bunny ears which are free, put on their racing shoes and run for a good cause. Kids can enjoy egg hunt in Grant Park to find 3,000 eggs. Don’t miss the petting zoo and a photo op with the Easter bunny. The race begins at 10.15 am

The Bunny Train at Chicago French Market

Hop on this special Easter train and take a trip around the Chicago French Market. Stick around for your chance to find eggs hidden in 31 of the market’s stands. Your little bugs will be jumping for joy when they find prizes or candy inside. But, the surprises don’t stop there. The Easter Bunny will be making a special appearance to meet and take photos with all of the kids. It will be held on March 26, 11 am-2 pm

Kohl Children’s Museum

On March 26 your little ones can win a one-year membership to this amazing museum. You read it right! This prize will be hidden with many other surprises in thousands of eggs hidden at Habitat Park. Tickets are available on the day of the event at the museum booth.
