Tax Monster

Its income tax time again, Americans it is time to gather up those receipts, get out those tax forms, sharpen up pencils ( in my case pen and lots-n-lots of paper). Last night, after I was done gathering every bit of information and arranging them for my accountant (process started months before), I felt more relived than anything else can make me feel. I was thinking had I worked this hard while in school or college, as I do every year around tax time, trust me my name would be counted in the movers and shakers of this world.

Well back to reality, its totally understandable that taxation is done to provide the benefits  and that is what makes the government function. THE IRONY IS AMERICA IS A LAND OF TAXATION THAT WAS FOUNDED TO AVOID TAXATION. I heard somebody saying, some things are certain as death and taxes. The difference between them is that death doesn’t get worse everytime the legislature meets. So true.

It is true that the expenses of government, having for their object the interest of all, should be borne by everyone, and a person enjoys the advantages of the society more. The other side of this luxury is that the average American now pays out twice as much in taxes as he/she formerly got in wages. At least thats what my pay check tells me.

It is said that the best things in life are free, but sooner or later the government will find a way to tax them too. So dear IRS, I am writing to you to cancel my subscription. Please remove my name from your mailing list.
